Hell, I may just be all excited to have a new goddamn project; Jos always said I didn't have enough shitting ambition but she might just choke on that politician husband of hers's cock before I'm done with this one.

The first fucking thing to know
is that I ain't a man for hope,
wishes on goddamn stars as we travel,
or sentimental gestures of flowers.
I ain't a man to be faithful,
long-suffering, or patient -
those were the qualities of a ghost
who passed through my childhood walls.
But the second thing, the second damn thing:
it is only this, that I will feed you
and house you as you burn down the world;
I will hold the matches as you strike the flame.
