Watching the deaththroes of fandom on Tumblr is weird - in part because so many people who only deal in fic seem to be planning to stay. The divide between text and visual artists that this is going to cause will have some consequences and I don't entirely know what they are yet.

Today has been a shitshow on a lot of levels. But, eh, that's every day in our current hellscape, right?

Good things:

I'm going to be attending Futurescapes, a kick-ass writers workshop, in April. I'm hopefully going to figure out how to afford to attend the Nebula Conference. I'm really enjoying playing Wordscapes on my phone. I'm going to finish this goddamn novel.

Given all the shitshow bullshit going down on tumblr, I guess I'm back here now. This was primarily a Star Trek Kink Meme RP account with some extra crap in it once that game slowed down so if you backscroll and have no idea what is going on, that's why.

So much argh.

But I HAVE missed ye olde LJ days so maybe this will get some people into the DW communities again, IDK. We'll see what happens.
