Watching the deaththroes of fandom on Tumblr is weird - in part because so many people who only deal in fic seem to be planning to stay. The divide between text and visual artists that this is going to cause will have some consequences and I don't entirely know what they are yet.

Today has been a shitshow on a lot of levels. But, eh, that's every day in our current hellscape, right?

Good things:

I'm going to be attending Futurescapes, a kick-ass writers workshop, in April. I'm hopefully going to figure out how to afford to attend the Nebula Conference. I'm really enjoying playing Wordscapes on my phone. I'm going to finish this goddamn novel.
